Can anyone take part?
This course is only suitable for parents of children with DLD, aged between 6 and 11 years old. Although it was designed in the UK, it is available internationally. You just need to be fluent in spoken and written English.

Contact us at DLD.research@bath.ac.uk if you think you might be eligible.
When is the course taking place?
We are planning on starting a new course in Spring/Summer 2024. This would likely run until December 2024.
How do I register for the course?
First, please contact us at DLD.research@bath.ac.uk. We will first ask you to complete a couple of basic questionnaires, to confirm that the course is right for you and your child. We will then send you an email request to set-up your password. Make sure to check your junk folder! The email will come from ‘PLUTO’ (notifications@challenges.wix.com).

Click on the link and set your password. We do not have access to this, so please make a note of it.
Once you have done this, we will then give you access to the course.

On your email, click ‘Join Program’ and you are all set to go!
How do I access my account?
Once you have followed the above instructions you can go to the website below to access your account:
When on the site, click on the 'Log In' logo in the top right-hand corner of the page, and enter your email and password.

Then, you can access the PLUTO course content in two ways:
1. By selecting 'Programs' on the horizontal menu bar, followed by 'View'.
2. By selecting the drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner, followed by 'My Programs' and 'View Program'.

Then you should be presented with the contents of the course
How long is the course?
The course itself can be completed in 8-12 weeks. This is depending how quickly you work through the modules. There are 6 modules, two of which we estimate will take 2 weeks to complete, however the remaining four modules are estimated to only take one week to complete.

Taking part in the research also means you will have weekly questionnaires to complete for 4 weeks both before and after you access the course.

This means you will be enrolled in the programme for up to 20 weeks in total.
Can I access the course on my phone?
The course is designed to be entirely online, and enabled for mobile access, though it works better on a computer or laptop device. There is not currently an App that you can use.
